New Trip... New Experiences...

Couple of days ago, we had a brief 3 days tour here in Japan that was really interesting.

At the first day, we went to Hiroshima, where we went to Peace Memorial Park & Peace Memorial Museum there.

It was the first time there I saw the true horror of the nuclear bom's impact on a city and a human...such a terrible disaster... :(

Afterwards, we continued to Miyajima Island to see the beautiful Itsukushima shrine.

There, we had to wait until evening since the view were really spectacular during the evening & night due to the illumination of the shrine itself.

At Miyajima Hotel, we had a traditional Japanese dinner where everything were set & arranged traditionally. Japanese do use many tools and table set, in case of serving their guest... They tend to separate each food's combinations in different set of plates...

But hey, everythings looks great though... and it looks really neat too... :)
After dinner, we had some walk outside the hotel, and took some pictures... (You can see at my Picasa Web Album for the details).

At night, I also tried a Japanese bath/ spa called onsen....it was such a new experience for me...hehe..
Since it was the first time, I had to wait outside for several minutes until a new guest came in, and after that, I just need to observe what he do next....simple... :)

To my surprise though, that inside the change room, we need to loose all of our clothes before entering the shower room and the onsen room itself. There were basket with a number all over the place where we can put all of our clothes on it.
The Japanese guest that came before me strictly said that no clothes are allowed inside, and only small white towel (more like a face towel that being provided there) can be used inside...huh...
After cleaning, I went to the onsen room itself.... such a big area with a big hot pool on it.
The onsen room itself were separated into two section, the bigger and the smaller. In my case, the bigger pool has a small waterfall on it....beauty...
There were several guests on the pool... some were sleeping, while some were chatting (more to gossiping)..
Well, for me, it's still a 'weird' experience to be together and had a chat with several guys without wearing anything in the same pool... :)

The next day, we went to Kyushu with Shinkansen. It took about two hours for us to reach the Kokura station. One small bus has awaited outside, where we then went to Toyota Kyushu factory for a small visit there.

Toyota Kyushu factory was a very modern factory compared to many factories at my country. At Toyota Kyushu factory, robots and human have been able to work together in such a way that many of my friends said "if only in my place we have that...."... haha

At the last day, we went to Kyushu Electric Power Plant. Again, Japanese technologies have been able to 'mouthwatering' us.... It seemed that the Japanese were trying hard to minimize their oil and mineral consumption at the moment.... LNG, Atom, and renewable matters seemed to interest them in the case of power supply matters.

At afternoon, we went back to Osaka city to end our small trip... Glad to be home again... but the new experiences we brought back were really worthed it....
